Fessin Up - September 26,

I've heard that confession is good for the soul, so
here's mine. At every concert I encourage folks to trust
God and turn everything over to Him so they won't need to
worry. Well, since our accident we've been having some
trouble with our insurance companies, and last week I was
commencing to worry a bit about it. Because of some poor
communication and a misunderstanding between our agent
and the company, I haven't had health insurance since two
months before the accident. Then our other insurance
company made a mistake that amounted to us receiving
$75,000 less than they'd originally told us. It's not
that I doubt for a minute that God can provide all of our
financial needs, this was just amounting to quite a bit
of money. Last week I listened to my own advice and
turned this situation over to God and now I'm letting Him
handle it. What a relief! I didn't need the added stress
on my already demanding load.
OK, I fessed up, now how about you? Is there something
you are trying to handle that is stressing you out? Do
you think your problem is too big for God? After creating
the universe and everything in it, any other problem has
got to look pretty small to Him. Or maybe you think your
problem is too insignificant to bother Him with. Trust
me, God loves you so much He cares about the smallest
detail in your life. Why don't you take a load off right
now and let Him take care of you? Just lay your problem
at the foot of His throne in prayer. Then comes the
hardest part...leave it there. Try it, I know first hand
it works.
Oh, by the way ... since I turned my situation over to
Him, He's already solved the $75,000 problem. I can't
wait to see how He handles the rest.
